HOW TO MAKE SHAHI TUKDA RECIPE IN ENGLISH & IN HINDI

SHAHI TUKDA

SERVES 4-6

INGREDIENTS (In English)

1 tbsp desi ghee
4 large slices of bread sliced into halves 
1 cup milk 
1/2 cup condensed milk 
1 tbsp raisins (stuffed)
A few Strands of saffron 
6 cardamons 
1/2 tbsp powdered nutmeg
12 finely sliced almonds 
12 finely sliced pistachio ( if available)

METHOD (In English)

Boil the milk with sugar added into it according to the sugar level you can consume and add raisins and cardamon in the milk once it starts boiling.While the milk is being boiled apply ghee on the tawa and cook the bread slices or its like frying them on tawa. Once milk is boiled and the bread slices are fried dip the bread slices in the milk and take out whenthe whole slice of bread soaks the milk and keep in the plate for a few time so that the excessive amount of milk gets out and then pour the extra milk and serve the shahi tukda in a serving plateadd sliced almonds and pistachio as toppings.
